Los Angeles Department of Water and Power Employees' Retiree Health Benefits Fund is a single-employer defined benefit public pension fund based in Los Angeles, California. Established in 2006, the Department of Water and Power (DWP) approved the creation of the Retiree Health Benefits Fund (RHBF) to count for assets placed in an irrevocable trust for the provision of other post-employment health care benefits in 2006. The City of Los Angeles Water and Power Employees Retirement Plan (WPERP) administers four separate pension plans including RHBF. Under the provisions of the City Charter, the board of administration has the responsibility and authority to administer the WPERP and to invest its assets. The assets are managed by the board members.
