University of Toronto Pension Plan was a defined benefit corporate pension fund based in Toronto, Canada. Established in 2010, the pension plan provided retirement and pension benefits to the employees of the University of Toronto. The plan's assets were managed by the University of Toronto Asset Management Corporation (UTAM). The pension committee of the fund used to be composed of 11 members of the governing council and 9 members representing employee groups with members who participated in the pension plans. On November 12, 2020, the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario granted consent to the University's application to convert the U of T Pension Plan to the University Pension Plan Ontario (the "UPP") effective July 1, 2021.
